eros/ion
2001
soap, ceramic dishes
eros/ion was created for the Restroom Show at the Mills Gallery, Boston Center for the Arts in 2001.

It consisted of about 30 glycerine soaps caste in the shape of different organs of the body (heart, brain, intestines, lungs, stomach, bladder, uterus, and kidneys). They were placed around the walls of the restroom, and were the only soaps available to use, with the idea that they were to be used, and would erode in the process.
