Tengo Sed
Tengo Sed (I Am Thirsty/I Have Thirst) consists of approximately 23 welded steel rockers topped with spoons. On each spoon, either the word “lick” or an image of a tongue are cut into the surface of the spoon. Each rocker corresponds to a wax mouth mounted on the wall, in a half open “thirsty” position. Rockers are positioned so that when they rock forward the spoons approach the mouths, as if to feed them, and then away again. Rockers easily move when lightly touched.
