Eclipse (2013)

Eclipse attempts to recreate my experience of the growing heaviness of darkness in the winter months. It feels like a blanket smothering the light. This piece is my desire to alter this blanket of dark, to poke holes in the nighttime houses to allow the light to escape.

Made during a residency at Sunday Morning @ EKWC (European Ceramic Workshop Center) in Den Bosch, Netherlands
